Game Ping checks HTTPS response time to public services for well-known games and platforms. Test one service or run the list to compare results on the same connection.
The current list includes public web services associated with these games and platforms.

Steam and PlayStation public services.
PUBG: Battlegrounds, World of Warcraft, Helldivers 2, and Stardew Valley.
The app times an HTTPS request to a game or platform’s public service. A shorter response generally indicates a more responsive route to that particular destination at that moment.
Game Ping does not connect to the live match server selected by a game. It is not a substitute for the latency displayed inside a match, and it does not measure packet loss, jitter, server tick rate, matchmaking region, or game-engine processing.
| Result | Practical interpretation |
|---|---|
| Under 80 ms | A responsive HTTPS result for the tested public service. |
| 80–159 ms | A moderate response that may reflect distance, routing, or temporary load. |
| 160 ms or more | A slower public-service response worth comparing on another network or at another time. |
These bands are interface guidance, not a guarantee of in-game quality. Always compare the result with the game’s own latency indicator.
Use the browser test to establish download, upload, and latency.
